Why do the monsoon winds change their direction?give any one reason.

Thus bringing about changes in monsoon wind direction. Because temperature of the landmass changes. Temperature is inversely related to pressure and hence, monsoon winds change their direction after six months. ... As a result, wind blows from land to sea during winter and vice-versa.

Monsoon winds basically change their direction due to variations in temperature and relief features. For e.g. - The Himalayas also play a a key role in in changing the wind directions due to their immense heights and the cold temperature there.
