The Rivers Krishna and Godavari flows towards only east as they can't flow towards west because they are higher mountain ranges and their are no plain regions to flow towards east.
Due to these mountain ranges, it obstructs their flow and so they flow towards east only.

Because in west direction high mountain ranges are there. But in the east direction these are plain ranges
