Why do the sky appear black to the passengers travelling in the aeroplane

bcz in the high altitude there is no fine particles to refract the light rays and then no atmospheric refraction takes place. since there is no atmospheric refraction so there will not be any dispersion of light so the sky appears dark not black( correct it )

as the aeroplane travell in stratosphere it is visible in black colour
