Why do the ventricles have thicker wall than auricles

Auricles only receive blood from the other parts of the body while ventricles have to push blood out to the rest of the body as well as to the lungs for oxygenation, therefore ventricles have thicker walls as blood exiting the heart has greater pressure than the blood entering it
