Why do the wool fibres have greater bulk as compared to other fibre? Please give me answer

Wool has a greater bulk than other fabrics because the wool fibeers are thicker than the other fibres as, wool comes from the hair of animals (sheep, goats, camels) while most of the others are plants or insects like silk worm etc.
