why do trees acquire more leaves during summer?

heya!
during summer the temperature is generally very high .in order to keep cool, a tree must transpire more to keep itself cool. more transpiration requires more leaves . hence, a tree acquire more leaves during summer

during summer season there is more availability of sunlight so by accquring more leaves more photosynthesis is possible . sunlight is the a factor of photosynthesis.so the trees can produce more food and store it .
