She is keeping quiet perhaps fearing her parents', especially her father's reaction. She fears if she will talk to her parents, they will react angrily to the situation; they may discontinue the facilities provided to her. Besides, she feels embarrassed on account of the shame she might be feeling on account of the cyber outrage done against her. Perhaps she feels with the passage of time everyone will forget it and normalcy will return.
