The constitution does not reflect the views of its members alone .It expresses a broad consensus of its time. The second reason for accepting the constitution is that the constituent assembly represented the people of india. The assembly was dominated by the indian national congress, the party that led indias freedom struggle. The assembly represented the members from different language, castes, religions, classes and occupations. The constituent assembly worked in a systematic, open and consensual manner which gives the sancity to the constitution.

Some reasons for accepting the same constitution till today are _
1. The constitution does not reflect the views of its member alone. It expressess a board consensus of its time.
2. The constituent assembly represented the people of India. There was a universal adult franchise at that time . So , the constituent assembly could not have been chosen directly by all the people of India but it was elected mainly members of provinicial legislatures, which ensured a fair share of all region of the country .
