First thing is, why do you follow the traditions made thousands of years ago?

The thing is, they were made by someone trustworthy and elderly from the past whom we respect and his culturee are our traditions which will keep us safe and secured.

Same case goes with the Constitution.

The Constitution made 50 years ago was formulated by trustworthy leaders of our country whom we remember till date. They helped in the attainment of independence of our country and the democracy formulated by them would only be for the benefit of India. This is why we accept the Constituition which was made 50 years ago.
