Why do we always see the same face of the moon

If moon didn't spin at all, we could see all sides of the moon. However, since the time taken by the moon to rotate around the earth is exactly the same as the time taken by moon to orbit around the earth, the same portion of the moon is always facing the it. Refer to the attachment -
