India is called a secular state because people living here are of different religion and different communities. Our country had not made any religion as national religion. The secularism of our country doesn't show our weakness but it stands for our strongness. The government does not have to interfare in any religious festival. So we get holiday on each type of festivals no matter it is diwali,id,etc.
