Why do we do not bath on the first day of rain

The first rain is termed as the 'Acidic Rain' which means that the first rain of the monsoon brings acids with it. This acid rain is the resultant of the chemicals released by the factories or the industries in the atmosphere. The chemicals released, spreads in the atmosphere and is absorbed by the clouds. When clouds give water in the form of rain, the chemicals absorbed in it too falls, along with the water from the clouds which can be harmful in many ways. The person who takes bath on the first day of rain, might get affected with the chemicals or the acid rain so it is advised not to do so.
