Why do we fall in the forward direction when a moving bus brakes to a stop and fall backwards when it’s acceleration from rear

this is because of the inertia of motion...if a body in moving,it wants to be in a motion only...so if a bus puts brakes, we move forward then come backwards

When the bus stops suddenly, people fall forward because their inertia as they are in state of motion even when the bus has come to rest.
