1. We feel a greater need for conservation as, we are facing lot of risk than our ancestors. Nowadays we are wasting so much of resources than our ancestors. For example : water. We are wasting water in so many ways such as leaving running taps without closing it. Natural resources are slowly vanishing by means of people who abuse it because they do not know the limitations of it. Abusing it can cause food shortage and also cause global warming. We need to conserve resources because it is the main source of our daily needs. Remember the 3 R's- reduce, reuse and recycle. Once it would be totally vanished our life would come to an end.

2. An oil refinery or petroleum refinery is an industrial process plant where crude oil is processed and refined into more useful products such as petroleum naphtha, gasoline, diesel fuel, asphalt base, heating oil, kerosene, and liquefied petroleum gas.

3. the following are the ways by which we can save energy:

  • Turn off fan when you leave the room
  • Close your drapes or drop your window shades during the day.
  • Wash your clothes in cold water.
  • Wrap or cover foods and drinks in the refrigerator.
  • Always use the cold water faucet, unless you really want hot water.

4. Compressed natural gas (CNG) (methane stored at high pressure) is a fuel which can be used in place of gasoline, diesel fuel and propane/LPG. CNG combustion produces fewer undesirable gases than the fuels mentioned above. It is safer than other fuels in the event of a spill, because natural gas is lighter than air and disperses quickly when released. Biomethane – cleaned-up biogas from anaerobic digestion or landfills – can be used.

Hope it helps :)
