Why do we get shocked by electric current? While earth has a 0 potential

cause our body is a good conductor of electricity, so current flows from our body to Earth, but if we're wearing a suit of armour, then nothing would happen to us even if lightning fell on us.(REAL EXPERIMENTS HAVE BEEN CONDUCTED TO PROVE THIS). Actually current always tries to go to Earth and wishes to take the easiest path(that is from the conductors) to reach Earth.(as Earth has 0 potential)

Coming in contact with an electrical voltage cancause current to flow through the body, resulting in electrical shock and burns. Serious injury or even death may occur. As a source of energy, electricity is used without much thought about the hazards it cancause.
Hope it is helpful ❤❤❤
