Why do we have 366 days in a leap year?

the one year is 365 1/4 days so they will join it for four years and they consider as 1 day hope you are happy with my answer so please mark me as a brainalist

because an Earth takes 365(1/4)days to revolve around the sun. We called this period as year. so for every four years we get a extra day (1/4×4=1).we call this year as leap year. so it has 366 days
