hi there,

India is an ancient country with a melting pot of cultures and traditions. We have collectively evolved to form a common identity and culture. With us, is tremendous diversity. That itself is something to celebrate.

We have religious festivals e.g. Navaratri, Eid ul Fitr, Christmas

harvest festivals e.g.. Makar Sankranti, Onam

National days e.g.. Independence Day, Republic Day

Music and dance festivals e.g. Sunburn, Konark Dance Festival

Family/private festivals e.g. annaprashan, upanayan

Each festival celebrates an aspect of life hold dear to ourselves. Be it a reminder that good will always win over evil or to remember how lucky we are to belong to a nation which gives us freedom and opportunity and the sacrifices made to build it.

Our festivals make us a joyous group of people and helps keep the fabric of society together.

Our festivals remind us that life itself is a reason to celebrate.

Happy celebrating!

Best wishes.
