Hi there,
Snakes and turtles are both kept at the same class, because they belong to the same class, which is the Reptilia....
The animals in this class :-
1) Lay eggs whose shells are made up of calcium carbonate
2) Have hard outer covering on their body.
3) Mostly terrestrial in Habitat.
4) They move by crawling on the ground.
5) They are cold blooded animals.
6) They have a 3 chambered heart...
Hope this helps you..
Thank you..
