Why do we need a contitution? Write four points in favour of it?

A country should be governed according to the rules and regulations.
A constitution is essential because of the following reasons:-
a) To avoid the discrimination against grounds of religion, race, caste, gender or place of birth.
b) To protect the rights of women and children.
C) All people must have the right to freedom of speech and religion.
d) People committing the same crime must be punished equally regardless of status.
