Why do we need conservation of resource

We need to conserve our resources because our life is depend on resources. these resources are the things on which people depend up to there death.Therefore our future generation also need these resources and they also depend on it. Therefore, for our future generation we should conserve our resources.

Irrational consumption and over-utilisation of resources may lead to socio-economic and environmental problems.

Resource conservation at various levels is important to overcome these problems.

If resources will not be conserved, then they will be limited and there will be nothing for our future generation.

Gandhiji voiced his concern about resource conservation when he said, " There is enough for everybody's need and not for anybody's greed".

He blamed greedy and selfish individuals and the exploitative nature of modern technology as the root cause of resource depletion at the global level. He was against mass production and wanted to replace it with production by the masses.
