Yes.We do ask elders to take decisions of our life. This happens because:-
1.They are  elders than us.
2.They are well experienced than us.
3.They know what is good and what is bad better than us.
4.They know this society, the world more better than us.
5.There might be few decisions which they can take more better decisions than us in our life.
All such reasons says that we need elders help in our life.It might be mother or father or grandparents or any elder.
Thus, with all these we can say that we need elders to take decisions of our life .
