it was brought to the notice that the number of courts and judge where highly in adequate to deal with the large number of cases the parties in dispute also have to spend lots of money to reduce the time and expenditure to speed up the process and system of lok Adalat has been started in the country very recently under the system the cases are decided speedly and without much of expenditure the first lok Adalat was held on March 14 1982 at junagarh in Gujarat in which 150 cases were decided in a single day.
