for suppose if you want to go for a place which is at east but you don't know where the place was so if you know where the place was you can move there and the sailors if they want to travel they have to know the rivers in between the places
so it is important to locate places on earth

Location is very important as it will help you to know the precise place of a archeological site, human settlements,towns ,villages or city. An absolute location is a depiction of an objective co-ordinate system.
