why do we need to measure things

We need to measure things because without measuring. For example- suppose you are baking a cake, without measuring ingredients, you may make a mess out of the cake! Another example- you are going in a car and you didn't measure the fuel and it may get empty, you should've measured the fuel before. Thus, measuring things helps us in a lot of ways.
