why do we not have a food chain of more than 4 trophic levels ?​

According to the 10% law given by Lindeman, only 10% of the total energy passes on from one trophic level to another. So, if there are food chains with more than 4 trophic levels, then the topmost or primary consumer will get very less or no energy.

Hence, food chains with more than 4 trophic levels don't exist in the nature.

Food chain are limited to 4-5 levels trophics becaise energy losses between trophics levels restrict the length of food chains and the biomass of higher tropics level...the organisMs in a trophics level are usually enterly consumed by organisms in the next trophics level .....
