India is a vast country not only culturally, but also in terms of area. India has many geographical features including mountains, plains, plateaus etc. India also has a long coastline on both the directions- west and east. India is surrounded by three water bodies, Arabian Sea in the west, Bay Of Bengal in the East and Indian Ocean in the South thus the name- "Indian Peninsula."
