why do we prefer democracy as compared to any other form of government

we prefer democracy bcz in it people have their fundamental rights and we can also choose our representative.

Democracy improves quality of decision-making.
It provides methods to deal with differences and conflicts.
It enhances the dignity of the citizens.
It allows to correct its own mistakes
