Why do we prefer democracy than any other forms of govenment ?

We prefer democratic governmentbecause it is a better form of government compared its othercounterparts. ... A democratic government is a legitimate and more accountable form of government.Democracy improves quality of decision-making.

We prefer democracy for 'mainly' two reasons:
1➡️. Prudential reason- It reduces the possibilities of conflict between different social groups

2➡️. Moral reason - it enables its citizen to know how they are governed

There are more reasons:
➡️Democracy treats everyone equally
➡️It has rights for its citizens
➡️Improves quality of decision making
