why do we put a cushions on the chair,carpet on the floor, straw material on the walls in cenima hall? ​

I have cushoins in chair,carpet on the floor, straw material on the walls in cenima hall because cushions are so comfortable & when some place is sharp that I can get hurt I keep a cushion

They are good absorbers of sound.

In a hall where we do not have carpets or cushions, there would be the effect of echo, which would be disturbing to us. So we use curtains, carpets which absorb some amount of sound and reduce the effect of echoing. In your bathroom, most probably you won't have carpets/curtains(unless you r really rich lol) so there will be echoing in the bathrooms..
