why do we remove the plastic coating from ends of an electric wire while using it for connection in an electric circut

because if we don't remove it, then electric current will not pass through it

We remove that plastic coating as the plastic is an insulator (bad conductor) of electricity and it will doesn't all electricity to pass through it .
-------------------------------------------------------- There are many ways to remove that plastic coating . I mentioned some of them here :-
1.) Using Plier - Use the cutter provided in the plier to cut the plastic part at some extent . Make a mark and then you can get the part off yourself with hands.

2.) Using knife - You can also use a knife to cut that plastic coating . Just cut that part with a little pressure and a mark will be made there. You can then use your hands to remove it.
