why do we say ABCD not DACB​

its because according to the english rue or order of english alphabets,

they start with the letter A,then B,C and finally d and similar other words in order.so remember english alphabets doesnt start with D.its starts A.that is why we do not say DACB for ABCD

  • The order of the alphabet is arbitrary — there’s no good reason why the alphabet should start with A, or why C should come after B but before D, other than that being the way it’s been for a few thousand years, with small changes over the years.
  • The order as seen in use by English is not inherently all that significant, aside from the fact that it is easy enough remember.
  • Actually, there is no harm in following this alphabetical order. Changing it now, at this juncture, will really be confusing for both teachers and students. We need to know the 26 alphabets and the present order is fine, in my opinion.
