why do we say that the first organisms were anaerobic? presence of which molecule set the stage for the evolution of aerobes?

because at starting there is very less amount of oxygen and anerobic bacteria can live without oxygen that why

first of all l want to suggest that this is not ferm statement . This had been said by scientist . that a animal in water was birth 1 st . and then becoz of changing

environmental factors , they were converted from unicellular to multicellular organisms. And 1 st organism was respire by anaerobic respiration . They were underdeveloped

animals. But , after some years , they were converted to devoloped organism

and they stated to respire by aerobic

respiration. then scientist of this generation has classify them based on
with oxygen and without oxygen. With oxygen it is called as aerobic and without it is called as anaerobic respiration.
