Swadeshi means of one's own country. this moment was very strong in Bengal but it was clearly visible in other parts of India, e.g., in Andhra Pradesh where it was known as the Vande Mataram movement. the Swadeshi Movement encourage the idea of self help, Swadeshi enterprise national education and use of Indian languages.
