the movement spread to all parts of India. people refused to use the goods manufacturer in Britain and Bond those that they had. hug public Bonfire where made and British goods where Burnt. people who use British goods where severally criticized. women and student also participate in this moment with great enthusiasm. the Boycott Movement against the partition of Bengal soon converted into Swadeshi movement. Swadeshi means of one's own country. this moment was very strong in Bengal but it was clearly visible in other parts of India, e.g., in Andhra Pradesh where it was known as the Vande Mataram movement. the Swadeshi Movement encourage the idea of self help, Swadeshi enterprise national education and use of Indian languages.
