We see water droplets on outer surface of a glass containing ice cold water. This is because the vapour in the air gets cooled down to form tiny droplets. This process is called Condensation

Answer:This is because the air around the glass contains water vapour in it. When these water vapour came in contact with the cold, they contact with cold water, loses energy and converted into liquid state, which we see as water droplets.
