we don't store acids in glass bottle because glass bottle do not react with the chemical solutions as glass is mostly composed of silica (SiO2) and silicates(SiO3),which leads to strong covalent bonding between silicon and oxygen atoms and is therefore chemically inert to react with chemical solutions .
However, such as hydrefluoric acid (HF) solution shouldnot be stored in glass containers as it readily reacts with silicates present in the glass to form hexafluorosilicic acid (H2SiF6)
