Why do we store hydrogen prioxide in lightcoloured bottles?

Hydrogen peroxide is a highly reactive metal that can react withlight or heat to produce water. To prevent it's reaction with light and heat to make water it is stored incoloured bottles so that lightdoes'nt pass through it.
