Why do we store silver chloride in dark coloured bottel ? Explain in brief

It reacts with sunlight and splits into silverand chlorine . That is decomposition reaction takes place. as it has a very light or soft bond so it can only brake because of sunlight ,so, to protect it from sunlight we keep it in dark bottles.

WE STORE SILVER CHLORIDE IN DARK COLOURED BOTTELS BECAUSE .IF SILVER CHLORIDE CAME IN CONTACT WITH SUNLIGHT THEN IT UNDERGOES DECOMPOSITION REACTION AND DUE TO THIS SILVER AND CHLORIDE WILL GET ISOLATED
