Silver chloride can easily react with sunlight to converts into simpler substance.so,it is stored in coloured bottles to prevent it from decomposition.

Sunlight can decompose silver Chloride and make it silver and chloride. Compounds like silver chloride are light sensitive and they may react with light very fast and lost its properties that's why it is prevented in dark bottle to prevent it from the entry of light.
