Why do we use melamine for making kitchenwares

because melamine is the bad conducter of heat and also not melt when it got heated..

It is used for coating the outer surface of the utensils so that they do not catch fire and no damage occurs. Melamine is thermosetting plastic and does not melts down on heating.
