hey!!
here is ur answer!!
=============================
✔️ We use red light for signals because the wavelength of red light is longest therefore the light of red colour scattered the least by the air Molecules of the atmosphere.
✔️ The light of red colour as compared to other colours like blue can penetrate to a longer distance without becoming weak.
✔️ Hence red light is used for signals so that the signal may be visible from the far distance even in fog, etc..
==================================
hope this helps u!!

➡A red light is used in traffic signals because it has longest wavelength and it can be seen from a long distance and it can pass through fog also.
➡Blue light Can't penetrate to a longer distance and it will become weak.
➡Therefore, Red light we use for signals instead of Blue light..
