Why do we usually not see petals and sepals on a fruit?​

Sepals and petals are the accessory parts of a flower and they meant for the protection of stamen and carpel.so they never come in contact with any sepal and petal or any superficial part of the flower . As fruits formed from ovary , they cant be attached with sepals, petals.
