Assuming that all the items are equally wet to start with (e.g., they all came out of the same washing machine load), you'll find that fabrics that are (a) heavier per square yard, and (b) more absorbent (i.e. they hold more water per ounce), like sweatpants as well as cotton terrycloth and other toweling fabrics, take longer to dry than a cotton t-shirt.
In turn you'll find that a polyester t-shirt will dry much faster than the cotton t-shirt, because polyester is not a very absorbent material. In fact, many polyester and polyester fleece garments will be almost dry enough to wear after they come out of the highest spin

Answer:
Woolen cloth take a longer time to dry as compared to other clothes, it is because the pore size of woolen cloth is large, as compared to synthetic clothes, so it holds more water in these pores which take a longer time for its evaporation. It has high water holding capacity. Another reason would be that during the winter season the intensity of sunlight is also low as compared to summer season.
