That tiny shock you feel is a result of the quick movement of these electrons. you can think of a shock as a river of millions of electrons flying through the air.

We get an electric shock as our body is good conductor of electricity and allows it to pass through easily.Conductors are the substances that allow electricity to pass through them easily. Our body consists of plently of electron atoms which makes us a good conductor of electricity. So, we get electric shock bcoz of unintended flow of electrons in an electric shock through the tissues and neuron network impacting skin tissue, causing heart attacks etc.
hope this will help.
