Why do you think it is important for people to know the views of the different candidates in elections?

because the power is vested in hands of people to elect their representatives. we must know the views of candidates as for eg a community of people wants to elect a representative they do not know about his views and elect him and then when he becomes the leader they found they he is against their interest.
