answer \:

Mirabai was a great saint and devotee of Sri Krishna. She was born in the Chaukari village in Merta, Rajasthan. Mirabai’s father got her married to Prince Bhoj Raj, who was the eldest son of Rana Sanga of Chittor.

Mira was married off, against her wishes to Rana Bhojraj of the Sisodia. She refused to let husband to touch her because she considered herself already married. She was already the faithful bride of Lord Krishna.

At first, nobody in the Sisodia family took Mira's strange behavior seriously. They hope she would eventually give in. There was persuasion; there were threats; there were attempts to cause her suffering and there were even attempts to kill her. She didn't allow any unwarranted interference in her spiritual life.

However, the relentless torments and hostility interfered with her life of devotion and contemplation on Krishna. She sought the advice of learned men and saints who advised her to leave the palace and return to Brindaban.
