Why do you think muscle cell and nerve cells are long whereas blood cells are circular

Shape of the cell always vary with the function they perform. Muscle cells are long in order to provide maximum strength and also because they are involved in conduction. same is seen in the case of nerve cells or more generally neurons.

Blood cells are shaped in such a way in order to provide maximum surface area to volume ratio.
