Why do you think temple bells are made of metal and not wood?

metals have the property of sonorous

sonorous means capacity to produce sound

whereas the wood cannot produce sound like metals

  • Yeah, i think so or it is  absolutely  right that temple bells are made of metal and not wood.

  • That metal was not ordinary metal but it was a scientific bell.

  • Temple bells are made up of many number of metals such as :
  1. copper
  2. nickel
  3. magnesium
  4. tin
  5. iron etc..

  • Small bells may be made of glass or ceramic.

  • The bell is made up of metal because it is a  sound  instrument "Thai" sound.

  • Metals have a property of sonorous which produces sound so bells also need sound so bells r made up of metals.

  • Metals used for bells are specially to make a nice ringing sound.
