An Eukaryote is any organism whose cells contain a nucleus and other organelles that are enclosed within membrane. Important feature of Eukaryotes that nucleus contains the genetic material which is enclosed in nuclear membrane.
Plants are considered Eukaryotes because:
1. Plant cells have a membrane bound nucleus, plasma membrane, and variety if membrane enclosed organelles.
Even if plants are Eukaryotes, below are distinct features that are different in plant and animal cells -
1. Plants have large central vacuole
2. Plant cell wall contains cellulose, hemicullose, and pectin
3. Plants have plastids, which has chloroplasts which again contains chlorophyll which gives plant the green color
