why do you think that northeast India is lagging behind in terms of mineral resources?

7 out of 8 states of northeast india are lagging behind just 15 years ago the few states had level of income higher then the country. Mizoram is the only state where per capita income has always been higher then average. Arunachal is below the national banch mark around 15% Sikkim is below natioanal average by 2% Nagaland is whoping by 25% Tripura Meghalaya Manipur all are lagging Policy makers in delhi have spent crores to fix this issue
