Why do you think that silk is so expensive

Silk is the delicate string like subsatance that comes from small insects called silk worms. In order to gain silk from these insects they must be killed and their silk winded up tight to make silk that is strong enough to make clothes. This is an expensive process and the silk worms are rare and hard to find.

silk is so expensive because it is made by very imperceptible process by the silk moth ..firstly they have to rear the Millbury the leaves and then rear silk moths ,they eat Millbury leaves and produce eggs and then eggs into larvae and then cocoon ,then cocoon is boil in hot water ,and then one should extract a single thread of silk from cocoon and dying it ,so it cost so expensive
